1.1 Acceptance of the 'Strategic Protector' Mandate
By registering an account with DPP Link Ltd (Company #16927455), the User acknowledges that compliance is no longer a target; it is a "wall". Use of the DPP Shield Platform constitutes an agreement to move from voluntary sustainability narratives to mandatory, machine-readable data architectures.
1.2 User Responsibilities & Data Accuracy
The Veracity Requirement: Users are responsible for the accuracy of all supply chain data uploaded via API or Excel File [Image 2]. This includes fiber composition (Textiles), chemical risk assessments (Toys/TSR), and plot-level geolocation polygons (Furniture/EUDR) .
The JSOC Risk: Inaccurate data that fails the JSOC Verification Protocol at EU Customs may result in immediate shipment rejection and storage fees exceeding £5,000 per day [Image 1, 39].
1.3 The Wholesaler Trap (Article 34 Compliance)
Under Article 34 of the ESPR, any importer or distributor placing products under their own trademark is legally deemed the "manufacturer". By using this platform, Wholesalers/Distributors accept full responsibility for the creation and maintenance of Digital Product Passports (DPP) and assume all liabilities for Article 54 Penalties (up to €20M or 4% of global turnover).
1.4 Service Fees and Termination
DPP Link Ltd operates on a tiered SaaS model (Essentials, Pro, Enterprise). Failure to maintain an active subscription results in a breach of the 10-Year Data Persistence mandate. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that fail to meet material disclosure requirements for "Substances of Concern" (PFAS, CMRs).
